I have always loved gardening! My family moved a lot when I was growing up and I would always have to leave the gardens that I started behind. As I got older, I started container gardening so I could take my gardens with me! I love being able to provide that experience to folks that don't have a yard for traditional gardening.

I was fortunate to have the opportunity to photograph this local compost specialist currently studying at OSU as a graduate student. She and Amy (from our own Knowing Oregon team!) teach locals how to grow plants from seed in our own gardens.
